Shadow Box

1. Natural Color Changes

During the preservation process, flowers may undergo natural color changes. Common shifts include:

   - White Flowers: May turn ivory, light beige, or develop a yellowish tint.

   - Red and Pink Flowers: May darken or take on purple or burgundy tones.

   - Blue Flowers: Can lighten or shift towards gray or green hues.

   - Yellow Flowers: May fade slightly or become more muted.

These changes are a natural part of the drying and resin application process and vary with each flower type.

 2. Factors Influencing Color Changes

The condition of flowers upon arrival, the quality of blooms selected by the florist, and whether the flowers were originally dyed will also affect their color during preservation. Fresher, higher-quality blooms often retain their color better, while dyed flowers may shift more unpredictably.

3. Color-Correction Techniques

To help preserve the beauty of your flowers, we apply specialized techniques to minimize these changes. This may include color-correcting methods, such as selective dyeing, painting, or enhancement processes, to restore vibrancy and balance in the final keepsake.

4. Unique Variations

Despite our best efforts, each flower will react differently, and some color variation is to be expected. This adds to the unique charm and individuality of each keepsake.

1. Handcrafted and Unique

Each product is made to order, making it one-of-a-kind. Due to the handmade nature, there may be slight variations in color, pattern, and texture from the photos shown. This is part of what makes every piece truly unique.

2. Handmade Imperfections

We dedicate our full attention and care to every design, but as with all handmade items, minor imperfections may occur. These may include occasional bubbles, wet spots on flowers, or other slight irregularities that do not impact the product's quality or durability.

3. Natural Flower Variability

Flowers do not retain their exact color and texture during the preservation process. We apply our expertise to preserve each flower as beautifully as possible, but variations in color and form are expected due to their natural characteristics.

4. Appearance Influences

The final appearance of each product can be influenced by the initial condition of the flowers, the quality of blooms chosen by the florist, and any dyeing or painting treatments. While we use a proprietary drying process, every flower reacts differently with resin, which may lead to subtle aesthetic differences across products.

5. Wet Spots on Flowers

When resin is poured over flowers, it may or may not create wet spots on petals. This depends on the condition of the flowers we receive and how they respond to our drying process.

1. Storage and Environment

Display indoors in a cool, dry spot, away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity to prevent fading and damage. Avoid storing it inside a closed box — poor airflow can speed up the resin's natural ambering (yellowing) over time.

2. Avoid Extreme Heat and Sunlight

Keep your resin keepsakes away from extreme heat and direct sunlight to prevent warping and fading.

3. Gentle Handling

Do not scrub or soak the resin items, as this can damage the surface and integrity of the product. Hang or display securely to prevent falls and damage.

4. Not Dishwasher Safe

These keepsakes are not dishwasher safe. Hand wash only to maintain their quality.

5. Avoid Harsh Chemicals

Do not use cleaning products or harsh chemicals, as they can cause discoloration and damage to the resin.

6. Cleaning Instructions

Clean only with a soft, dry microfiber cloth — resin scratches easily, so avoid soap, water, or other materials.

7. Weight Limitations
While these trays are robust and sturdy, avoid placing heavy items on them, as excessive weight may compromise their structural integrity.
